Welcome to North Metro Internal Medicine conveniently located at 8300 Alcott Street, Suite 302 in Westminster just 2 blocks east of Federal off of 84th and Zuni. North Metro Medicine is an Internal Medicine practice providing care for adults seeing patients 16 years and older and we also welcome seniors as we do accept Medicare. Dr. Singh and Dr. Lee are Board Certified in Internal Medicine and the care we provide focuses on the outpatient primary care needs of our patients, including preventative care, treatment of acute care illnesses of all types and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, and hypertension. Statement #2 (Appointments)
Appointments may be scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:30-5pm and please be sure to mention all your health concerns to the receptionist, so we can allot the appropriate amount of time for your appointment. Please be aware that although we see patients by appointment; we do our best to accommodate same day appointments. Statement #3 (Prescription Refills)
Are you calling for a prescription refill? We ask that patients call your pharmacy and have the pharmacy contact us for the quickest response to your request. We feel strongly that our success comes from building long term relationships with our patients, thank you for choosing North Metro Internal Medicine. Because of the special attention we give each of our callers, we are assisting another patient and will be right back to speak with you personally.

Statement #4 (Staff)
Dr. Lee provides our patients with added services not found in many Internal Medicine practices. She does both Vascular Doppler (ABI) studies to check blood pressure in your legs, and Electrical Neuromuscular Stimulation (ENS) which is used to treat musculoskeletal pain. In addition, the office has an "in house" phlebotomist so your blood can be conveniently drawn for lab tests at the same time you see the doctor. When we return, we will ask for the name of your insurance carrier and request that you please bring a current copy of your insurance card to each visit. If you change insurances, please let us know as soon as possible. North Metro Internal Medicine accepts most insurances including Medicare. Cold and flu season will soon be upon us again. According to the Centers for Disease Control, here are some good health habits to follow to help prevent catching a respiratory illness this year.

Avoid close contact with people who are sick
Stay home if you are sick
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing
Wash your hands often
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
Drink plenty of liquids
Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, and eat nutritious foods
