Yellowstone Surgery Center is an Ambulatory surgery center, or ASC where surgeries that do not require hospital admission are performed. ASCs provide cost-effective services in an environment that is less stressful than a typical hospital. Patients at Yellowstone Surgery Center arrive on the day of their procedure, have their surgery in a fully equipped, state of the art operating room and recover under the care of highly skilled nurses, all without hospital admission. At Yellowstone Surgery Center, we care about you; therefore we have equipped our Operating Rooms with the latest medical technologies and equipment including Wireless HD digital video operative cameras, a new Phacoemulsification cataract removal system, with specialized instruments and equipment to ensure that your procedure is performed safety and efficiently. Yellowstone Surgery Center is a partnership between local physicians and Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. We appreciate your call and respect the value of your time.

Yellowstone Surgery Center is a multi-specialty surgical facility providing patients access to state-of-the art surgical services in a safe, convenient and comfortable setting. Our nursing staff are all Registered Nurses with Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support certifications, and have many years of patient care experience. Highly respected area surgeons perform a variety of procedures here including: General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Oral Surgery, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Pain Management and Urology. Statement #5 (Patient Oriented Facility)
Here at Yellowstone Surgery Center we like to personally meet children who are patients. Our philosophy is that children are better prepared for surgery if they understand the procedure and are familiar with our center. Both parents are welcome in the waiting and post recovery areas and our caring staff provides each child with a personal stuffed cuddly bear for added comfort before and after surgery, and the bear is theirs to take home as a gift from Yellowstone Surgery Center. We will be glad to schedule a time for you and your child to tour the center and meet our staff when we return to the line.

Statement #6 (ASC Trend and Benefits)
Technological advancement has allowed a growing range of procedures to be performed safely on an outpatient basis. Faster acting and more effective anesthetics and less invasive techniques, such as arthroscopy, have driven this outpatient migration. Procedures that only a few years ago required major incisions, long-acting anesthetics and extended recovery time can now be performed through closed techniques utilizing short-acting anesthetics, and with minimal recovery time. As medical innovation continues to advance, more and more procedures will be able to be performed safely in the outpatient setting.
